From the fabulous 1920's Guardian Building and Fisher Building skyscrapers, to the iconic public art of the Spirit of Detroit sculpture and Scott Fountain, Jan has captured and skillfully re-interpreted Detroit's most beloved landmarks and subjects. Olympia Stadium, old Tiger Stadium, Belle Isle, Detroit's famed Hudson's department store, Bob-Lo Island amusement park, Lafayette Coney Island, the Fox Theater and many more images have been captured in black and white and then remade using a time-honored, hand-colored technique.
