The original photo was taken in the late 1930's (before being hand-colored and reprinted by the artist) showing Olympia Stadium as it looked when it opened in 1927 at the corner of Grand River and McGraw in Detroit. Olympia Stadium was demolished in 1986--the end of an era for Detroit and The Old Red Barn. |
