Designed by architect C. Howard Crane and completed in 1928, Detroit's fabulous Fox Theater was built for Willaim Fox, founder of 20th Century Fox. Restored by the Illich family in 1988, the Fox it is the second largest movie theter in the country with more than 5,000 seats. Its lavish interior blends Burmese, Chinese, Hindu, Indian and Persian motifs. Broadway shows, musical and concerts can be seen there throughout the year.
