SEPTEMBER 20, 2012 -- Part of Detroit Design Festival, Eastern Market After Dark launches tonight from 7-11pm in — you guessed it — Eastern Market.
Put together by Nina Marcus-Kurlonko, the wunderkind behind renegade art gallery collective Pop-Up Detroit, Eastern Market After Dark aims to shine a light on the creative nooks and crannies not always accessible to the average shopper on a Saturday morning.
A walking tour will be given of each space. If the social media surrounding this event is any indication — all neatly wrapped up under the #EMafterdark hashtag banner — the artists behind these creative spaces are going all out to treat their guests to a one-night-only extravaganza.
